Once a man made a remarked for their friendship that „people could never talk of one without mentioning the other‟s shows the close friendship of Mujtaba and Inzamam.
One day Inzamam‟s elder brother Intezaar brought him to meet Mujtaba‟sfather‟s shop. At that time Mujtaba was nearly 17 years old but Inzamam was younger.Inzamam was a shy and reserved boy he was one such of a boy who never had more friends. Soon, Inzamam and Mujtaba became good and fast friends.
Even as a kid Inzamam would either hand out at his only sister‟s place here or at my home. When everybody went to sleep Inzamam made the omelet‟s and Mujtaba prepared „rotis‟.Mujtaba had still fresh memories that how they would often not go for sleep. At day break they set up for the first „namaz‟ of the day. Intizam-ul-Haq who was the father of Inzamam and he was the biggest spiritual leaders in Pakistan always asked them how they were there so early. But they never told them the truth.
Inzamam was a keen player of cricket. He would spend most of the day at the old Multan Stadium practicing with his bat. Once Imran Khan visited there and noticed him and praised him.
